So far, 2008 has been a very busy year for Ms. Laurent and we’re incredibly happy to see her out and about! Gorgeous new photos have surfaced of Mélanie at the Balenciaga PFW Fall Winter 2008/09 Fashion Show. She attended this event just today, alongside Charlotte Gainsbourg. Ivonne collected and added the new images, but requested I update everyone on the news!

I’m excited and so happy to say that we have more from the César Awards, that just took place a couple of nights ago. Maria found some gorgeous pictures of Mélanie celebrating with Marion after receiving her César. You should definitely check out these photos, she looks incredibly lovely.
Even better news, everyone! A visitor named B had previously recorded the Césars, and kindly uploaded and donated the video clip of Mélanie presenting the award for “Best Short Film”. I’m so pleased that to say we now have the video clip in our archive, and hopefully more pictures show up! I also made captures if the video, totaling to about 150+. I’m loving Mélanie’s entire look at the 2008 Césars and hope she can return next year to nominations and wins on her behalf!

Fantastic news, everyone, Mélanie presented at this years 33rd César Awards!! She honored director Philippe Pollet-Villar with an award for “Best Short Film”. Unfortunately, I was only able to get 2 images for our gallery, but keep checking back as I’m sure more and more will pop up in no time.
A huge congratulations to Mélanie’s Dikknek co-star, Marion Cotillard for winning “Best Actress”! We’re very happy to see her success in North America, and cannot wait to see the outcome at the Oscars this sunday.

It seems that Mélanie had a television appearance on the 12 of February. Whilst browsing, I came across 4 stills from her appearance on the French talk show “Vivement Dimanche”, which plays on France 2. Unfortunately, I’ve been unable to come across a video just yet, as I’m not a resident of France. I come baring more 2008 appearance goodies! Mélanie attended the Crystallized Swarovski Elements - Unbridaled : Launch Party just this past week, as well as the Sidaction Diner - Paris Haute Couture Sring/Summer 2008 event, wearing what may become her signature bow (which can be seen in the pictures on our current layout). Thanks to the ever amazing, Erhan, who donated the 2HQ pictures from the Sideaction Diner event.
