Well, though no official word has been released from Mélanie’s agent, but in light of recent news and pictures, we can officially call this rumors - official! Mélanie, along with co-stars Brad Pitt and Diange Krueger, and director Quentin Tarantino arrived in Berlin just a few days ago, where filming will begin quite shortly. Quentin and cast dined at Vino e Cucina, and fortunately, we have a few candids from that event. Though I don’t really condone candids, I really wanted to put these up because it’s really exciting to see Mélanie alongside such big names! Purepeople.com also confirmed fellow French actress, Isabelle Huppert, has joined the already amazing cast list. Filming will begin October 9th, and later move to France in January of 2009. Inglorious Bastards should make it’s premiere at the next Cannes Festival In May 2009.

I’m sure I’m not the only one to just squee with glee over this news. Mélanie is definitely making her break into American cinema, and hopefully, she can receive as much praise and positive reviews as fellow, and past co-star, Marion Cotillard did with her outstanding performance in La Vie en Rose. Until I can update with more news, enjoy the two pictures of Mélanie dining at Vino e Cucina, as well as a new and updated photoshoot!

Thanks to Violette of tFS , outtakes from the editorial feature in the November 2007 Elle France issue have been added to the gallery. According to Violette, the magazine spread features an extensive interview, but she was unable to scan it. Unfortunately, the image quality and size isn’t that grand, and only 3 individual shots have been added. However, they’re still gorgeous, and show off a slightly different side of Mélanie. Again, a huge thanks to Violette for finding these, and hopefully magazine scans will be donated soon enough!

Wow, wow, wow everyone… do I ever have a treat for you all!! Upon glancing over some Mélanie pictures, I spotted a brand new shoot (to my eyes at least). It seems, sometime last year, Mélanie was featured in the celebrity-filled magazine “Télérama”. Unfortunately, I have no idea how I’m going to get my hands on this magazine but the outtakes our now officially in our gallery archive. Mélanie looks beyond stunning in this set, leaving her look very casual and very much her own style and her bright blue eyes pop out underneath her blonde bangs, and light blue background. Happy March, everyone!! To start the month off right, I’ve updated and revamped the photoshoot section. Remember session 18, 28 and 29? They were gorgeous.. but unfortunately very small, but thanks to the wonderful Erhan, we now have HQ versions of all three sessions!!
On top of this, I finally added all those lingering photoshoots I had collected awhile back. A huge thanks to out French counterpart, Only Mélanie, for session 31.
Also, you may notice that session 21 has more photos. Well, I finally added some never-before-seen photos to that set! Mélanie is featured in new locations, and working the shoot as usual! Whilst browsing today, I stumbled on the first new photos of Mélanie to surface in 2008! It seems she’s tinted her hair to a strawberry blonde color, and I cannot stress enough how much I love it!!
On January 7th, Mélanie, along with director Cédric Ange, did a some what promotional shoot for the upcoming “Le Tueur”, which debuts tomorrow in French theatres. Make sure you don’t miss these photos, or the upcoming thriller which is bound to be a great see!
